Great place. Food was awesome and the service was excellent. I got a sandwich and my colleague got pizza. All loved their meals.
I may be wrong, but I think this is St Louis style pizza. Very thin crust, cut into squares, with the white/yellow cheese blend. We had pepperoni and sausage. The toppings were a title lighter than we like but it wasn't greasy at all. We were in town two weeks and liked it enough to have it twice and will definitely go back.
Spent the night in Salem as a travel stop. Was incredibly surprised to find the excellent pizza here. Will likely make Salem a stopping point for pizza on future trips.
We're traveling through Salem and stopped overnight at the Holiday Inn and saw all the reviews for this place, so we decided to stop in. Do NOT let this little hole in the wall fool you. The food produced here is really good. I ordered a hot sandwich and the flavors were really well paired. The kids asked for us to buy a second pizza to eat more. When it's so hard to get kids to eat anything it's amazing when the family restaurant actually is geared for the whole families appetite. The staff was really nice and the food is rather quick to come out. I truly love finding places like this. It for sure deserves the five star rating!
I have been coming here since I was a little kid, and that my folks, has been a few years. *wink* We arrived promptly at 11 which is when they start their buffet. We didn't time it that way, it's just the way it worked out. We got our drinks, and when we went up to order, they asked each of us what we liked on our pizzas. That was really cool. After a short wait, the pizzas were ready. They accommodated each of us (as well as others in the restaurant). For those who know me, check out those shrooms on my slice of pizza in my photo. Heaven! Was it the best pizza in the world? No. But their willingness to accommodate was amazing! Also, it is the best pizza that I've ever had on a buffet. The ones in our area just plain suck.
